Pilot Energy is a start-up natural gas exploration company focused on taking advantage of underpriced gas reservoirs in Saskatchewan

  • Raised $400,000 in seed capital from Saskatchewan based investors
  • Developed a natural gas vehicle transportation strategy for the province of Saskatchewan
DEEP Earth Energy Production Corp.

DEEP is a geothermal exploration company searching for low temperature geothermal power production in Southeastern Saskatchewan

  • Lead the successful application with Natural Resources Canada which awarded the company a $13.1 million subsidy towards the construction of the demonstration plant
  • Co-authored the business case which guided the direction of company


PrimeWest Mortgage Investment Corporation

PrimeWest is a mortgage investment corporation that focuses on residential and commercial mortgages

  • Increased the share capital from $2.4 million to $25 million in four years
  • Grew from 76 regional investors to over 540 shareholders with distribution across every western province and Ontario
  • Grew the mortgage portfolio from $4.0 million to $27.0 million in four years.
